Marrying at Magdalene

Magdalene offers a beautiful setting for weddings, combining historic charm with modern facilities.

The College is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and provides excellent reception venues. A dedicated team is on hand to assist with planning and coordination to ensure a seamless day. Due to high demand, early contact with the Conference and Events Team is recommended before making any further arrangements.

Marriage in the College Chapel requires permission from the Governing Body and is open to Magdalene Fellows, students (past and present), and staff members.

If you are considering a wedding in the Chapel, your first step is to contact the Conference and Events Team to discuss available dates. Once a date is in mind, you should reach out to the Chaplain, who will guide you through the application process and assist with planning the service.
