Family Day 2025

We are delighted to invite Magdalene Members and their families to join us for our ever-popular Magdalene Family Day.

There will be live music, garden games, ice cream, crafting activities, an outside bar, and children can test their wits in our codebreakers trail. It is a wonderful opportunity to return to College with your family to enjoy a fun afternoon in the Fellows' Garden.

Programme

Date: Sunday 6th July 2025
Time: 12.30pm - 3.30pm
Venue: Magdalene College, Fellows' Garden

Food and Drink

• Members are welcome to bring their own picnics with them to enjoy in the garden.
• Alternatively you can choose to pre-order an afternoon tea from the Buttery. Included is: two scones (plain and fruit), jam and clotted cream, four finger sandwiches (assorted fillings), and a small cake. The cost for an afternoon tea is £16, and these must be ordered in advance. Please note: the deadline for ordering afternoon teas is the 26th June.
• There will be an outside bar in the Fellows' Garden for card purchase of both alcoholic and soft drinks. There will be free jugs of water and squash available for children.
• We are delighted that local artisan gelato company Jack's Gelato will have a stall, where attendees will be able to enjoy a delicious ice cream free of charge.

Cost

Adults and Children age 4+: £5.50 per person
Age 3 and under: Free
Afternoon Tea (two scones (plain and fruit), jam, clotted cream, finger sandwiches, and a small cake): £16.00

Tickets include all activities and one free artisan ice cream per person.
