Mr Robert Skelton

Mr Robert L Skelton is a Life Fellow at Magdalene.
After graduating in Chemical Engineering Mr Skelton joined a north eastern engineering company working on a wide variety of projects before being appointed Manager of Process and Safety for the nuclear division, by then called Davy McKee Nuclear.
In 1990 he was appointed as College Lecturer and the Nuclear Energy Teaching Fellow in the Engineering and Chemical Engineering Departments. In 1997 he was appointed Lecturer and later Senior Lecturer in Design in the Department of Chemical Engineering from which he retired in 2005.
Mr Skelton continues to lecture on nuclear and safety topics in both Engineering and Chemical Engineering and look after Masters’ projects, he also supervises for Magdalene and other Colleges. He is a member of both the Ely Cathedral and Ely Diocesan Environment Groups.
