How to Apply for Postgraduate Study

Embarking on your postgraduate journey at Magdalene College is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant academic community. Here’s how to apply:

Step 1: Choose your course

Visit the Postgraduate Study website to explore the range of programmes we offer. Select a course that aligns with your interests and career goals.

Step 2: Complete your application

Most applications for postgraduate courses at Cambridge must be submitted through the University of Cambridge Postgraduate Study Applicant Portal.

MBA, Executive MBA, and Master of Finance (MFin) applicants should apply directly to the Cambridge Judge Business School.

PGCE applications are made through UCAS. See the Faculty of Education for information.

Step 3: Put Magdalene as your first-choice College

All students are required to be a member of one of the University's 31 Colleges. In your application, you must indicate your first-choice College. If you choose Magdalene as your preferred College, once you have been accepted onto the course by the Faculty or Department, the Postgraduate Admissions Office will pass your application on to us for consideration.

Step 4: Application fee

Ensure you pay the application fee, which is required to process your application.
